Dr. Jason Del Gandio is a professor, public educator, and engaged intellectual dedicated to social justice. His scholarly expertise is in the theory and practice of social justice, with a focus on activism, social movements, and political protest. His work is guided by the question: How do individuals, groups, and populations communicatively accomplish justice and liberation? He addresses this question through the intersections of rhetoric (message and audience), philosophy (reasoning and systems of thought), and performance (embodiment and aesthetics). He is an Associate Professor of Instruction in the Department of Communication & Social Influence at Temple University.
